Our family of 4 stopped in for a visit during our city island day. The museum is in a house built in 1897 on a nice setting. It was a schoolhouse so there is an original classroom to visit as well as the nautical history....More

Pretty "village" between Westchester County and Coop City in the Bronx. The Island was first inhabited in the 1600's so the museum is rich in History with lots of photos. There's a school room from the mid 1800's that will show how children were schooled...More
