Very scenic destination. You'll enjoy the keeper's quarters and of course the lighthouse you can climb. Steps are steep near the top, then there is a short ladder to climb to the top. Not elderly friendly but don't let that stop you from visiting.

We live on the st. Lawrence river and besides bolt castle, the rock island lighthouse is terrific! They have picnic tables so you could bring a lunch or snack and just have fun watching the ships go by. The lighthouse itself is fun to walk...More

Gorgeous view of the St. Lawrence River from the top of the lighthouse. Their museum is small but informative. They have a lot of dock space for your boat.

Several of the normal tours of the islands. Here. And let you off to look around the island check out the little shop and of course to climb up inside the lighthouse. The photo opportunities and the views from the lighthouse are very nice.

I wish there was more to read and learn inside, and the lighthouse is only 56 steps up but the view is gorgeous and the island is cute! Definitely fun if you do the Glass Bottom Boat Tour.

Experienced that past with a visit, have been there many times as a teen - adult as it is right across the river from the family boathouse. Lots of fun history to learn about.
