We took a boat ride along the lake. The info they shared about the history of the lake was very informative. Its only about an hour long, but a very nice pretty ride.

In the frontier years of the area, this beautiful lake was called "Glimmerglass" by the native Americans. It should still have that name, it's that lovely.

It is a beautiful, quiet lake surrounded by trees and mountains. Not a lot of development around it. Some nice large older buildings and a very quaint town. Worth a visit.

We rented a Pontoon boat from Time Out for a couple of hours. Tubing and sightseeing - beautiful lake - a great way to see the valley, Cooperstown, museum, King Fisher castle and so much more. Incredible lake - incredible history.
