IN SEASON HOURS (MAY 27 THROUGH OCTOBER 31) ARE REFLECTED- 10am-4pm; OFF SEASON OFFICE HOURS ONLY (NO TOURS): 9am-5pm. ADMISSION PRICES: $15 Adults; $12 Seniors, Military and Youth (ages 13 – 17); Children under 13 free. Hyde Hall is a 50-room Regency-style neoclassic stone English manor house that was built between 1817 and 1835. Now a museum, Hyde Hall offers fabulous views of Otsego Lake and the surrounding countryside. Hourly guided tours are available May through October, with tours departing from Tin Top, the Visitors' Center, beginning at 10 am through to 4 pm.

I you have the chance, stop here. This old English manor was one the seat of a vast baronial estate. Interesting history and wonderful grounds to walk around.

While tours and the building are closed during winter you can still walk the grounds and read the history on the posted markers and signs. Some say it's haunted but we did not have any strange experiences except a cat in a building near the...More

A treat for those interested in architecture, history, the decorative arts. Our guide was a graduate student doing research at Fenimore HOuse. He was very informative and interesting.

Went with my husband was a cold day so perfect for a tour. The house was very interesting and the tour informative. The grounds were beautiful as was the view of the lake.
