The Gaffer district is one of my favorite 'walking around' districts. There is something for everyone - great dining choices, wonderful shops, lovely historic buildings. It is a 'must visit' when in Corning.

The Gaffer district is one of the nicest places to walk, shop or stop at any one of the restaurants to eat. Centerway Square is a place to sit, eat or people watch. Corning has a lot to offer and the people are friendly.

Small town collection of restaurants, antique shops, and a lot of beauty shops, massage parlors and everything else you need in a town. A bit of history but nothing outstanding. A ok way to spend an hour or two.
