Great views of the lake while walking through the two fort ruin areas, one british and one french. The visitor center is small but surprising good with nice artifacts and a great historic video and lighted display board. Don't let the outside building fool you....More

We came across this state historic site by accident and are so glad that we stopped. The park preserves French and British ruins from the era of the French and Indian Wars, Outstanding visitor center. Ruins of British ruins are truly impressive.

The history of this fort is amazing. No charge to just drive in and sit next to the water on the grass and enjoy yourself. Bring a blanket and have a picnic. Every Wednesday 5pm during the summer you can see the J-24 sailing races...More

Historical ruins with plenty of easy-to-follow signage describing the purpose of each aspect. Not crowded. Fun to wander. Lovely views of the lake.

Stopped by this site before crossing the lake into VT. Enjoyed learning the history & the views here are awesome! This site is worth incorporating into a visit to the area!

I have been to this site several times and there has never been anyone at the booth collecting money.
