The new Center is a marvel of reusable, renewable resources. Combining the folksiness of the old Center into the modern facility more than a decade in the making. Nature is at your fingertips.

Nice nature area to explore with a variety of trails to walk or snowshoe on with varying degrees of difficulty/steepness but it is lovely here. Added bonus that there's no cost!

This is a wonderful out door experience where you can go hiking snowshoeing, bird watching. Nature is everywhere, lots of streams and peaceful little places to meditate at. Lots of wild life.

Nice trails may see some animals, if you live in the city a nice place to experience nature. The do have an education center but not very large. Sometimes they have special programs and guided nature walks.

Today was a beautiful sunny day, perfect for a stroll around the "turtle pond" across the street from the Five Rivers Nature Center. I brought my binoculars to do as best as possible to get a count of turtles. Counted 28 of different sizes and...More

This environmental center is close to Albany and sounded interesting-miles of trails, ponds and a creek. Don't bother. The trails are poorly laid out, poorly maintained, and poorly drained. The trail map is the worst I have ever seen-incomprehensible. Because the trails (especially North Loop...More
