Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

One of my favourite vineyard visits in Alentejo. We had an excellent wine tasting with several wines that have now become new favourites. Bruno was informative and fun and the tasting was relaxed and enjoyable. Highly recommend!

A wine tasting and winery tour. We booked through Easy Camp Portugal and stayed the night in our motor home. The wine tasting was fabulous and extensive. We had the opportunity to taste many very different wines some of which were Wow moments. The Mimi Grape Ale was a stunning “beer”. Thank you Bruno and Elizabeth.

The architecture is gorgeous, the whole winery is an example of technology, sustainability, good taste and boundless sympathy.
The wine tasting was fantastic, both for the wines itself and also for everything that was offered to pair with.
It was one of the highlights of our 5 days Alentejo wine tour and i absolutely recommend Herdade do Rocim to anybody.

Certainly a place to visit on your wine and/or architecture trip in the Alentejo.
I think it was lacking a bit of maintenance.
The wine tasting could be accompanied with some bread and a deviation of the standard tasting is to be looked in, p.ex. we only drink red wine and no only-red was possible.

We wandered into this winery without a reservation, a couple hours before they had a major event and were setting up. The lovely young man who was there was so friendly and gracious, and let us in to sample some wines even though he had a lot going on. He was very informative, and friendly and wonderful. Loved the wine, loved the winery and will definitely try to go back with a real reservation. A wonderful experience nonetheless.

A young growing winery in a lovely setting. The tour guide was very informative on the processes and wines produced. The tasting following the tour was accompanied by some excellent tapas. We tasted five wines and attempted to pair them with the food. We liked the wines.

I had the opportunity to taste different wines such as "Olho de Mocho Reserva 2008" red and white. Great wines ! I didn't really know Portoguese wines, but these ones are now Inside of my favorite european wines !

Its reassuring to see the future with large scale investment in wine production in portugal in spite of all its economic & austerity problems .
We were taken to this very modern wine estate started in 2000,created with special regard to the Topographic , the clay ,sandy soil ,weather conditions to produce high quality grapes
It is set in 70 hectares of vineyards with magnificence views & a serenity not normal found on a wine estate . The buildings which house all the very latest equipment are set in to a hillside , careful landscaped which is deceiving when you get inside , its like a James Bond movie set .
We were meet by Anna Moreira who spoke perfect English , & looked after us for the 90 minute tour & tasting with enthusiasm,, knowledge ,& professionalism ,not normal found in guides
The final part was the tastings which was held in ultra modern hall ,which match the high standards of the wine & olive oil given as samples
Worth a definite trip to be assured that Portugal particular the Alentejo region will be producing for many years to come very high quality wine for limited consumption in Europe ,but
will exporting these high quality wines to the rest of the world , well done , full admiration to Anna & her colleagues & those all important investors
