Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Dreadful food... Clearly microwaved burger. Should've had cheese but none arrived. Batter bits in with chips... Good job I'm not veggie as the undercooked chips must've been cooked in the same fryer as battered fish. Sorry won't be going back.

Nice location and nice outside seating, however, we only got one half sausage on a the children’s meal which said it came with 2 pork sausage (we were given £1 for the missing sausage). The burger bun fell apart when I cut it the onions in the burger was not completely cooked as well, the chips were also cold, the onions rings were greasy, and the gammon was nice however there was a large amount of greasy fat. The lady’s toilet were also not the nicest as there was cracked tiles and it was outdated.

A brilliant place. I had only ever visited Wimbotsham when the bike event was on but decided to drop in for lunch. This pub is a real find. Good range of beers, seating inside and out, car park, view over the village green, covered lit-up cozy area outside plus a good lunch time menu. Best of all was the cheery bar lady who was genuinely interested in ensuring I enjoyed my visit and found time for a chat with an old bloke who was here on his own. Really good experience and all you could ask for from a country pub.

Lovely pub. Always a friendly welcome. We only had the sausage sandwich and chips. Good value and they hit the spot. Looking forward to visiting again.

Popped in with a friend after a nice walk and it was very pleasant. Staff were so friendly and talkative.
We had a couple of sandwiches and drinks both were nice and served at a good time.
I think it's really well priced aswell.
