This is a very nice activity to do on the Erie Canal. Lots of one and two person kayaks for rent at reasonable prices. Helpful staff too. It's a lot of fun to kayak around Fairport Village on the canal. Lots to see.
We took our 4 yr old grand son in a tandem kayak for a canal jaunt - he loved it. They provide all necessary equipment even for handicapped and have volunteers on call to join them and offer help/instructions if needed.
