I came to the Queens County Museum Farm on October 30, 2016 specifically for the Children's Festival (which kids were encouraged to wear their Halloween costumes). I am very grateful to have a place like this within the five boroughs and not have to drive two hours to have a similar experience. We had a wonderful family day here. We... More

We wanted to spend some time outside Manhattan and didn't want to pay for a river or winery tour, so I found the Queens County Farm Museum. General Entry is free and you can get there using public transit, but it does take a while. Once we finally got there - use the website's instructions, not your phone's - we... More

This place is good for a family outing. The corn maze is good it will take 20 to 1 hour time to complete. They are well organised and you have options for food( very expensive) You can also pick your pumpkin and see chickens, goats, cow and horses.

This is a wonderful place for a solo outing, romantic couples walk or family day out. It recommend going when there are no events, it's free and tranquil. If you prefer lots of activity check out their calendar for fairs and events. I've been coming here since I was little and I still love it. Every year I do the... More

This place is so nice. I've been several times for different occasions. The garden of vegetables are beautiful to see, the chickens, goats, alpacas and pigs are great to see up close. They have a hayride that you can purchase for small fee and a children's petting zoo. The farm stand has fresh vegetables you can purchase. It's just a... More

The farm is quite big in this county but not too much to see,, need to improve and redesign the farmland. The gift shop is small and less products to exhibit.

We visited Queens Farm Museum recently with our granddaughter and had a great time-The park is on the Queens-LI line and there are lots of activities-feeding farm animals-climbing on tractors-hayrides-milking the cow-pony rides-there are planting fields and a farmer's market where you can buy fresh produce--there are many events throughout the year-so it's a good idea to visit the website-It... Our dear friends got married there recently and it was better than we expected. The ceremony was half outdoors under a tent just a short walk from air conditioned barn. It was quite lovely. The reception was held outside under a very large tent, then also tables set up inside the barn in the air conditioning. This buffet style bbq... More

I take my 2-yrs old on a regular basis. It's small, but has a selection of typical farm animals for the kids to see, touch and feed. Sheep, goats, chicks, pigs and cows. Admission is free just buy food for the sheep and goats. Picnic area and gift shop that sells their produce.
