    Nice experience
First baseball game ever! Really nice experience, loved it. And special start of the game as it was 9/11 22nd anniversary, we had really good seats, had nice hot dogs and french fries (it's just a shame you dont have high tables to eat, either on your seat or in the stairs). And really easy to get there and come back there from Times Square, direct subway, about 30mn for less than USD 3.-. Go Mets go! ;)

    Let's Play Ball!
Citi Field is the home of the New York Mets. It is found close to Flushing Meadows and is next to Mets - Willets Point subway station. This is on Line 7 and there are regular trains running to Manhattan from here. There is also a very large car park for those who prefer to drive. The stadium is pretty big and impressive.

    Great stadium!
I went to Citi Field to see an NYCFC soccer game. The stadium is very clean and organized. There are many food vendors and bathrooms. Every seat has a good view of the field and there are multiple levels. I highly recommend!

    Good ballpark and easily accessible.
The food service was extremely slow at the pastrami sandwich vendor. And very expensive. The product was excellent, but I don’t that it was good value for the time and money. The ballpark was very nice. Clean and easily navigable, although we were told that the escalators get shut off immediately at the end of the game??

One of best MLB stadiums out there!
Biased as a NYer but this is one of the most fun stadiums in the country. Not a Mets fan but have nothing but admiration for the fanbase. Citifield is often voted as the stadium w the best food and that is still the case. This yr has a lot of fun rotating options in Taste of Queens. There are a lot of great local options. Believe it or not, the sushi (I know, in a ballpark) is delicious. We also got our first look at the Piazza Club (available to folks w 300 level tickets). Nice little oasis of calm in a bustling stadium. If you’re a ball fan or just curious about a fundamental part of NYC, swing by Queens for a visit!

    Intro to Baseball
Fun and safe trip to first time baseball game. Subway journey from Times Square was easy, busy, pretty quick and safe. Picked up cheap ($24) with good views up on 5th tier. Food good, but service slow. Family all loved the experience, but got a bit cold towards the end of the game. Overall, definitely recommend for 1st time visitors as a safe, fun, entertaining event which always had something happening...even if the Mets didn't win!

    Great Ballpark and fun atmosphere
We visited Citi Field to watch a game vs Nationals and although it was rain delayed, we had a great time. Coming in from Manhattan, it's not a difficult or long drive. we took an uber and it was worth it.. The ballpark is new with really good food outlets and good options for drinks. We walked around the stadium and all the seats have really good site lines.. Great open stadium with fun atmosphere.... not a lot compares to Queens' fan out there.. some colourful characters for sure. One of the best parts of this stadium are the views outside of the ballpark.. LaGuardia is just across the road and planes are constantly flying in the background and on the other side, you can see the best skyline of Manhattan. Great Atmosphere, great seats, good food and drinks.. and actually an easy way to get in and out of the ballpark. Definitely a fun time.

Easy subway ride to Citi Field from Midtown
My wife and I attended a Mets game this past summer with my daughter, son-in-law, and three grandsons. Citi Field is a beautiful stadium. I went to from our seats took some photos of the sunset and planes taking off from LaGuardia. It is easy to reach the ballpark on the subway from Midtown. Just before game time a big shower of rain hit, which delayed the start of the game about an hour. We only lasted into the fourth inning because the kids were getting tired. It was good to see a Mets game at Citi. I enjoyed our visit.

New Mets museum is disappointing small and not located where fans will see it!
Citi Field is a great place to watch a baseball game and lots of improvements have been made since it opened in 2009. The new scoreboard is huge and the stadium staff is friendly. Unfortunately, the Mets re located the Mets hall of fame plaques and museum. The hall of fame plaques look out of place upstairs in the JRR. The new Mets museum is too small and doesn’t pay homage to the wonderful Mets memories. My favorite baseball team has let greed getting in the way of paying tribute to the players of yesteryear. The larger team store is nice ,but not at the expense of the Mets hall of fame and museum.

Worth the trip, even for Boston fans
My son and I were staying nearby and had a free afternoon. It worked out perfectly that the Mets had an afternoon game. This stadium is brand new and beautiful. Very easy on-site parking ($40). If you get there early consider walking through the train station and over the pedestrian bridge to Corona Park... maybe a half mile away?... some interesting sights and a good photo op with the "Unisphere". Anyway, the Mets game was fun to watch, seating was comfortable, and there is an incredible variety of concessions. We stuck to the basic hot dog/cotton candy/water on an extremely hot day but many of the other offerings looked delicious. If it's going to be hot I suggest getting a seat on the third base side which seemed more shaded. We were on the first base side and melting in the sun! But the game was not sold out and we were able to move into a shaded section later on. Overall an excellent park and great way to spend the afternoon, even as Red Sox fans!

After years of primarily going to Yankee Stadium, I'll admit I was skeptical. I went here for the Mets/Braves series thinking I was going to the inferior baseball park in the city. Was I mistaken or what! Citi Field is absolutely gorgeous. The staff in and around the park are incredibly friendly and helpful. The food options quite simply can't be matched; there's such diversity in the offerings you can get for a full meal or a light snack. Best of all, it's very easy to get to via public transit if you're staying in the city. And you should take the subway! An Uber or taxi ride from midtown Manhattan was running $70 on a Monday afternoon prior to rush hour. Just get on a train, budget yourself about 40 minutes to arrive, and when you get off, prepare for one of the best live baseball experiences of your life!

We visit baseball stadiums as a hobby and this was our last in the US (Toronto next year). It was our favorite on this fall trip, easily beating out Yankee stadium and Philadelphia. The stadium is of course newer which helps. The amenities are fun and we took a train from Brooklyn to Manhattan then out to Flushing (1 1/4 hours) and it let us off right at the entrance. Super nice! I liked the energy from the fans (possibly going into the playoff season bolstered that) and nobody around me was drunk and obnoxious. I would recommend it to all.

Citi Field, the home field of the New York Mets, is one of the most gorgeous baseball stadiums of Major League Baseball (MLB).

My wife and I have attended multiple New York Mets baseball games at Citi Field and we have enjoyed each of our experiences at the stadium.

The seats are quite comfortable and provide fans great access and views of the Mets players and the baseball game.

My wife and I found the food selection to be tasty and superb, appreciated the support and service provided by the stadium’s staff, and we also enjoyed visiting the New York Mets Hall Of Fame & Museum.

All in all, my wife and I had a wonderful baseball experiences at Citi Field, and look forward to the day when the threat of COVID 19 ends and when Citi Field opens it doors to fans again.

Not impressed. Having never been to a baseball game was eager to come and give it ago. But was in shock of the prices of the food and drink. I’d go as far to say it’s criminal! Charging people $8.25 for a bottle of water is shameful! Furthermore, a pint is $15! So before you go make sure you’ve remortgaged your home and prepare to watch yourself to watch 10 minutes of sport over 4 hours!

I took the Citi Field tour yesterday. Got there 15 mins early like the ticket says & them proceeded to wait another 45 mins for it to start because our tour guide never showed up & apparently, no one in that building knows who or what is going on in there. Eventually, Justin from Events showed up & gave us a tour. Justin was fantastic & I must say that you have an incredible employee on your hands. None of this is his fault.

What happened to the Museum? I understand that the team store was cut in half when the previous incompetent owners made the hall of fame & museum space & I understand expanding the team store to the size it previously was, but what happened to the museum? You crammed everything from the museum to a hall closet in center field & the rest scattered around the stadium? And the hall of fame was scattered by the escalators by the main entrance? Really? You would think the Fred Wilpon still owned the team.

I must say, this was a bad job. I would expect better from an owner claiming to be a Mets fan first. It just goes to show that no matter who owns this team, they will always get it wrong & this team will always be second rate.

We’re not huge Baseball fans, but wanted to experience a ball game, culture etc…. On our family of 4 holiday in NYC. We were not disappointed, Citi Field & the Mets were great.

Firstly it’s easy & cheap to get to via the Subway from Midtown & Baseball tickets are not overly expensive, with lots of options dependent on where you want to sit. If you are not sun worshippers, get tickets in the shade (Google it). The stadium is on the flight path, so a delight to watch the planes between pitches.

The stadium is great, modern & safe, we had great interactions with real fans. Lots & lots of catering & beverage options, it’s not cheap but embrace it. Plus lots of merchandise shops.

Check the bag policy ahead of going (backpacks not allowed) & take ID as you will be carded if buying alcohol. Evening game was great, as you could watch the sun set.

We loved it, family of 4 (teenage daughters) 3 of whom had never watched Baseball before. Do it!

I love going to different MLB stadiums and this was my first visit to Citi Field. We stayed in midtown Manhattan and it was easy to get to the 7 train which takes you right to the stadium. We even got lucky and saw Mr Met before going inside. The rotunda is a great way to enter the park and I found it very easy to navigate. There were plenty of food options; especially on the main concourse level and in the outfield area. Our seats were in the upper deck which still afforded a great view of the action. The fans were into it which makes for a great atmosphere. Exiting the stadium and getting back to the train was easy as well. Our family had a great time seeing the Mets at Citi Field and would recommend it to any sports fan.

The stadium is very nice and they have excellent clubs/lounges that are included with select tickets. The concession prices are extremely expensive and when early entry for a day game is around 10:30, it would be nice to have a breakfast option. We resulted in fried Oreos, as no one had time for breakfast before the 5 hour drive to the stadium. We enjoyed the seats and the food options available.

Had upper-deck seats to watch the Mets take on the Cubbies (sadly, Chicago lost) and can say it was one of the most enjoyable baseball experiences I've had in my many decades of going to games. The ballpark is beautiful and our "cheap" seats had a great view. And if you're an out-of-towner who has any trepidation about watching a game surrounded by locals, don't. The crowd was boisterous, but funny and friendly. Everyone in our section was trading jokes and stories by the end of the game. Food/beverage options are clean and just as pricey as you'd expect. Restrooms were clean, too. And if you like airplanes, you can watch takeoffs and landings at LGA from many of the seats!

Saw a Sunday game Phillies / Mets and drove from Philadelphia. Mets fans were friendly. I thought it was an uninspiring stadium but my Mets fans friends said it's worlds better than Shea. I drove and parked, taking the Verazanno Narrows up and the GW back. Parking is simple and it seems like each exit dumps you directly on to the highway that will let you take either bridge on the return. I think it's like $10 extra in tolls if you take the GW but the traffic flows easier that way.

If it wasn't for the fact that I took my son and dad (and it was a Sunday) I would have driven to Secaucus and taken the train to Penn Station then the LIRR.
