Each year in the week before and after Labor Day, all eyes in the tennis world are on the USA for the prestigious US Open tournament. The last of the four major international events in professional tennis, the stakes are high, particularly if any home court players or teams are closing in on a 'Grand Slam' win at all four events. Ticket prices can run up into the thousands for the most coveted seats, but for a die-hard fan it's worth it for the chance to see the top athletes in the sport, up close.

Love coming here to watch the US Open although tickets are getting a bit pricey. Close to public transportation or you can find street parking to save some money. Tennis center is well kept and clean. Food is decent with many options.

What a great time to be in NY and witness this great event. I have been buying my tickets from championship tennis tours for many years and they come thru all the time and get me great seats. I will always be loyal customer. Max

Went to this years open and had a fantastic time with my wife. Tickets aren't to expensive and had a fantastic view inside Ash stadium. Outside courts are great too. Not quite Wimbledon but hey!

It's more likely that you can find a VRBO further out on Long Island or somewhere in nearby New Jersey. If you have a car - you can leave it and take the train to the US Open, or other sights and sounds in Manhattan. The... More
