This is a superb location for lovers of aviation, which brought wealth and energy to Long Island in the post World War II period. There are wonderful attractions for those who are enamored of planes!

The Cradle of Aviation is one of the finest museums of aviation history anywhere. There are original and replica pieces and airplanes that are amazing and an Apollo capsule. Long Island is truly the Cradle of Aviation for many reasons. I loved going here.

The cradle of aviation museum has planes that run the gamut from the first days of aviation to space ships! Food court needs some improvement but the facility is terrific
