Normally people cycle through the jungle to Grand Anse. Which is already a cool trip. The beach itself is beautiful and the waves and the current are amazing. If you are not a good swimmer the current is dangerous. Unfortunately, the shadow is missing. We...More

A large beach with very little shade, If you buy a coconut you can have one of the palm-leafs ”huts”(If they are free/available. Big waves and strong currents further out, swim at own risk! The scenery is fantastic, If the sea were a little calmer...More

Lovely clean beach for a swim, and photography. The waves are quite high, and the tide is strong, locals would advise you not to swim there. We got into the water because it was so refreshing but we made sure not to go inside...

Gorgeous beach with white sand but no shade. The waves and undertow require caution. We had to help rescue one couple who were pulled under and in trouble.

The Grand Anse is where the middle island road ends, just after the restaurant where you can leave your bikes. The beach is very big and wide with very few shade. It's open to the ocean, so there are huge and very powerful waves followed...More

Tourist tend to keep in the Source D’Argent area and this big beach is by far wilder with currents and fairly empty. Not the most picturesque beach but nevertheless worth the visit

Went from north of the island and took us about 25 minutes to get there. With quit a hill but it way worth it. Excellent waves to eno od, no rocks, great fun. But carefully, you have to be a good swimmer.

If you want to visit a place where it's extremely relaxed then La Digue is probably for you. Predominant form of transport - bicycles! A great way to get around this beautiful island in less than a day. Go to Loutier Coco at Grand Anse...More

I was disappointed because you cannot even swimming in the sea. Wave is bid, maybe 2 meters high. Definitely not for children or non pro swimmer. Even pro, be very careful. Very few shade, strong wind. This is real sea, real ocean but you can...More

Mehul L
Hello guys, I am planning my honeymoon in Seychelles for 8 days with my wife in early December, 2017. I want to do snorkelling, SCUBA diving, nature hike and beach relaxation on my vacation. There are 6 main attractions which I wish want to visit to take beautiful photographs. Anse Source D'Argent, Anse Grande Soeur, Anse Lazio, Anse Georgette (including Morne Blanc mountain hike) and Mahe Island for Morne Blanc climbing and a visit to Victoria market. Could anyone please guide me how should I plan my trip to get the best out of my honeymoon. Where to stay to see all these exotic beaches and how to make to and fro excursions easy and comfortable. We may change our stay on every 2-3 days for the other places (May be 2-3 days for Praslin, La Digue and Mahe Island each). Which tour company to use for Island hoping? We have the budget of about 1500 USD for this trip of 8 days. Truly appreciate your suggestions and grateful for the time provided by you guys to help me plan this out. Best wishes…
