This was probably the best day on Seychelles for us. The trail is not too demanding, virtually anybody can do it. But you really need non-slippery shoes for safe walking on the rocks which I did not have. I had to go barefoot some places...More

Unfortunately, we actually haven't visited this beach as we left it for our last day on La Digue having a ferry back at 12.30 PM. So, this review is a warning to other fellow travelers to organize themselves better and not to make such a...More

You need to hike and climb to get from Grand Anse to this wonderful beach. For us it was a lot of fun without guide. You need some sort of hiking shoes, sneakers or good sandals with grip and something (a lot) to drink. For...More

Just go there and be amazed, you have to take one of the walking tours who go there but it's really worth it. Take sunscreen, there is no shadow there 😎

We visited here with Sunny Trails Guide (Andreas rather than Robert) and as others have said, you really do need a guide. We are experienced travellers and do most things independently but the path to get here is non existent as you have to climb...More

When on La Digue, bike rental and the visit of this beach is a must! It is so special and unique and hard to compare with other beaches. If you carry on east, there is this little hidden fruit bar which you shouldn’t miss. Very...More

Although some travellers mention that you can reach the remote beach on foot from Grand Anse, it is absolutely untrue. The locals told us it would be very difficult as there is no footpath as were suggested. The tropical forest is also very dense.

Hi Monica I would contact Robert Agnes at Sunny Trail Guides, he will be happy to answer your question. My guess it's quite doable as he mentioned to me that it's possible to go earlier than the normal 7.45 start.
