This beach is just up the road from our hotel (Domaine de L'Orangerie). There are some nice shady areas and some food and drink bars which unfortunately cause some litter. There are a couple of giant tortoises ambling about which you can feed. The snorkeling...More

Anse Severe is known as a snorkeling beach. It's a good place, easy to join from La Passe by bike. Large beach open on the ocean. If you look at less than 100 meters from the shore, you'll see some rocks emerging from the sea....More

You can easily walk or cycle from the quay ... just turn left ... and there is plenty of space on the beach. Great snorkelling just out beyond the reef and some fish in the lagoon too. There's also a giant tortoise that comes out...More

Great beach, calm sea. Good for swimming and snorkelling. Fruit stall near by, where you can buy fruit platters or freshly squeezed fruit juices.

This is a very nice beach for kids. The water is fairly shallow, and they can wonder about safely alone to boulders for some shallow snorkeling.

Beautiful beach, best in the morning when it is not so busy. We saw also a turtle between the two rocks.

Long beach for walks up and down, some good snorkelling as well... little shack up the road where they serve nice sandwiches... oh, there are tortoises here too!

It's not easy to swim in this one as it's very rocky like most beaches in La Digue. Although, it's got a great view and the water is nice

We stayed right across the street from this beach. It is nice with a couple of turtles, but is difficult to negotiate when the tide is out - coral and grasses extend out a long way, so it is difficult to get to deep water.
