Cycling by the beach is a great experience. We also chilled on the beach for sometime and even swam there. But be careful when you get into the water - it can be very rocky and the waves are choppy.

Road runs behind a long sandy beach. Trees provide shade. Sea, although, beautiful colour and inviting, looked too rough to swim (high tide), so we cycled on. Not many people reach or stay here, so a quiet beach.

Nice place, the sun rises on this coast. At times the waves are high and since its a public beach, no one cleans it so there are seashells and algea, you'll need watershoes to access the water quickly, if you don't have any, no big...More

Had very special feelings when biking along the shore on the paved road. One side is the amazing ocean with fantastic rocks, and real jungle on the other side. I had a great sunny day, I felt I am in paradise...

Just 15 minutes by bicycle from the jetty..Real quite and u'll have the place to yourself. But not as good as Grand Anse/Anse Coco and others.Highlight: The ride to get there overlooks the sea and is beautiful.

We did a bike tour of the North and East today and this was our least favourite beach. Not as pretty as for example Anse Severe and you can't swim due to the strong current. We looked, we saw, we moved on.

You can't swim so go there to make a walk or a bike ride, see Anse Gaulettes from the street and bring some pictures there.

Do not advise to swim there very dangerous currents and not good with reef and gravels. Only for pictures and the beautiful surrounding.

I really like the beaches on this coast of La Digue and as this is a bit further away from the port, you get fewer people there. Best to have dive booties/ shoes though as there's coral/ reefs close to the shore and it's hard...More
