I have done Hadley mountain over 20 times and it doesn’t get old. The view from the summit is breathtaking! It’s worth the short but semi-challenging hike.

A good amount of climb for sure with plenty of rocks to maneuver around to keep it interesting. But don't forget to take time to look up! Leaves are gorgeous wether green or in autumn bloom. Ground does seep water so be sure to wear...More

Gradual climb the whole way up with plenty to keep kids interested. Great views and 360 view from fire tower which was open when we hiked. Easy to follow trail 3.6 mile round trip. My 5 yr did this easily with plenty of breaks and...More

Nice hike although not easy nor isolated. After parking the car the trail begins the ascent immediately and keeps a good grade pretty much to the top! So it's some work depending on your level of climbing fitness, but it's worth the hump! The views...More

I have seen this mountain rated as moderate. It's difficult to say the least. Very rocky and only one flat area about 2/3 of the way up. It is worth it though. The views are spectacular. There is currently a mountain steward living up there...More

Easy trail to find. This is a constant up-hill climb with very few flat spots to relax. It reminds me of some of the toughest climbs in the smokes. The view is great on top (not life changing) but the fire tower is cool. It...More

This is a decent hike that is moderate in difficulty. To reach the trail, you need to travel a ways down a dirt road. I would recommend pulling up directions prior to departure, because there is no service out there. I would also recommend having...More

It was a good hike, with a constant ascend for the first mile, then there was a flat section, before the ascend again before the peak. The best part of the hike was the fire tower at the top. It was not closed, and we...More

Just the right amount of hiking for our family with kids ages 8 and 11. Some rock scrambling, but not too much, steady climb and a gorgeous view at the top, especially with the Fire Tower. They also had a great hiking guide at the...More

Start early, 58 degrees at our start and we were soaked with sweat. Take plenty of water and a snack to eat before descend. Tower is very high with a panoramic view. Wear hiking shoes as the terrain is rough and the soil/leaves get slick
