I've been on winery tours for over 40 years and this one was the best - part enthusiastic guide and part great winery. I had never encountered 100,000 gallon vats -- and there are lots of them. This is the old Taylor winery which is...More

This winery is really a great place to visit. Almost like walking into a Museum. There are many exhibits available describing the history of the business as well as the history and art of winemaking. I really enjoyed the time spent here and oh by...More

We stopped in quite by accident and were so happy we did. What a wonderful tour we were given by Jenny. We were there at 2pm on Friday and were the only couple going through at that time. Jenny told us all the rich history...More

We debated stopping here because it was away from the other wineries on Keuka Lake. It was totally worth it! HUGE tasting menu; something for everyone. I liked that they had a sparkling burgundy, not found anywhere else in the FLX. Our server (can't remember...More

We could tell you which one, but everyone has a different wine palate. Let's just say the label has a dog on it. We went in to sample and buy our usual bottle, there are a lot of wineries in the area. We came out...More

The only place in the Finger Lakes offering a tour of working facility plus film & lecture on the history of wine making and the area. The rest of the places are either quaint wineries for tasting and vineyard photos or storefronts passing as wineries...More

This massive property is steeped in heritage, being America's oldest bonded winery (meaning there may be older wineries, but this one first to follow the rules). The wines are from Niagara and Catawba grapes - not for snobby wine enthusiasts. We love them, as well...More
