Interesting tour of our nation's historic military college. This tour provided an insight into the history and current traditions of West Point. It contains both a bus tour and walking. However, the walking is not that long or strenuous. The tour guide was low key but passionate and made sure we learned and saw many items of interest. He made... More

I had the day to drive the Hudson Valley with a visit to West Point and Franklin Roosevelt's Presidential Library. West Point is a must see and overflowing with history beginning in the revolution and through every war or conflict up to today. Our Guild was very good know her points very well. Even better she could answer any question.... More

The tour was very informative. Our guide did a good job of explaining all the sites we visited. The chapel was beautiful and the views from the cliff were magnificent.

If you go to West Point this is a must. to get the most out of your visit. Most informative, excellent scenery, every stop makes you want to return on your own and explore more. If you do not have three days to explore on your own the 2 hour tour (which includes the cemetery) is an absolute must. EXCELLENT... More

Stopping at West Point was a compromise... in exchange for my husband and my two teenage sons (14 and 18) agreeing to tour FDR's homestead in Hyde Park, NY, I agreed that the same trip could include a tour of West Point. I was surprised that I found it as interesting as they did! Our guide was wonderful, telling lots... More

The 75-minute tour ended after 60 minutes, ostensibly because the chapel wasn't available due to a recital. The tour guide, Ann, regaled us with her encyclopedic knowledge but seemed closed to questions even though we had more time than usual. The statues and scenery kept us entertained and interested, but I don't believe that the $15 price, plus fees, was... More

Jeff, Thank you for your response and feedback. West Point Tours is under the direction of the Commander of West Point and when there is an official function, certain venues are closed to the public. There was a recital that afternoon in the Chapel, therefore we were instructed not to bring groups there. The possibly of this happening is noted... More

The two tour was well worth the money. West Point is a very large campus and the bus tour makes it possible to get a real good picture of live at the academy. If you are a history buff you will learn a lot about all the background stories of our great generals

We were looking for somewhere to stopover and visit on our drive back from Niagara to JFK New York. West Point is ideally located on the east end of Route17E from Binghampton to Harriman - highly recommended. We stayed local the night before and took the first tour of the day (0930). Unfortunately, it was a cold, wet October morning... More

The short tour does not visit the cemetery. The 2 hour tour does. The added cost is just a couple of dollars. Plenty to see in WP but the cemetery has extra history and stories. Note the new security arrangements. You need to provide info to the tour operator and bring acceptable ID. Can't just walk around WP. Note the... More
