Six book shops. An eclectic breakfast and lunch place. A Friday farmer's market in season with live music. Tumbling water, rolling hills, a large public playground for kids. you probably have to like small villages or hamlets to get excited about Hobart. Well, I do like them and Hobart did not disappoint me. We happened upon an ad for the Hobart Book Village tucked away in a Catskills travel guide. We arrived on a Saturday afternoon during the "off season."
