We booked a trip to Magaruque by dhow with these guys, and it was great. Our first activity in Mozambique, we were enthralled by the fire pit (on a wooden boat), and the multitude of colours on said boat. The crew were really good, they can sail and they can cook! Fresh fried barracuda is one of the nicest meals... More

Our group of 6 did the two day one night camping safari and really loved it. First you need to realize that sailing on the dhow boat is part of the experience since most of the day is actually spent on the boat getting to the islands. It's a wonderful rustic boat with padded benches where the captain both steers... More

We had a rtwo day one night Dhow safari with sail away. Lots of snorkeling, dune walking, swimming and sunbathing. Dolphins swam by the boat, dogons and whales. Snorkelled off reefs and beaches as well as off the dhow. Sailaway offer a beach camp with full breakfast, lunch and dinner. The cook was incredible by the way. Fantastic experience. The... More

I was fortunate to join just for the day with 2 ladies on a 3 day trip, going to Bazaruto Island was absolutely fantastic, most relaxing and stunning scenery. ALL the crew were outstanding right from go with answering emails and then on the dhow. The trip is 100% worth taking, and I really was impressed with this company and... More

The two person crew were friendly, accommodating and cooked one of the best meals I had eaten in Mozambique on the boat! then brought the food bare footed across rocks to serve us. We motored out and sailed back - a delightful experience and the island was magical in beauty, great snorkelling and stunning wide sweeps of beach.

You're going on a boat trip.... ?! it is way more then that! its an adventure! Just the hype around getting ready to climb on board and you already excited.. Off you set across the sea, to a beautiful island in the sun. Tea/coffee/juices offered on the trip there. Snorkelling, swimming and chilling out, taking a walk down the beach..... More

We had an excellent day of spectacular snorkeling and good sightseeing with Sailaway. We rented the large rubber-duck for a private day trip to the Bazaruto Islands and two-mile-reef. We were 4 adults. The guide, Dominique, was very helpful and accommodating and has very good knowledge of the area. He made this day a richer experience for us. Since my... More

Dominique and his Team were OUTSTANDING. We headed to Two Mile Reef and had an EXCEPTIONAL tour with superb Snorkeling and "to die for" food which was prepared and cooked on the Dhow. A must for any traveler to Vilanculos

We did a day trip to Margaruque island with Sailaway. The trip took an hour over flat water, beautiful clear water with tea and coffee made for us. When we got to the island there was an option to relax on the beach or walk which we did to see the dunes and swim on the other side, we were... More

My wife and I went on a dhow day trip to Bazaruto Island and out to 2 mile reef for snorkelling with Sailaway in October 2014. Took about 2.5 hours to get there by using the single engine on the dhow and the swell was about 2 metres when we got out to the open waters of the reef beyond... More
