I went strawberry picking at the end of July on the last day for strawberries. I expected that they would be small which is fine because they still tasted good but what was disappointing was the family that runs the farm. They wanted to charge...More

If you are out in the apple orchards, Fishkill is really nice, however, it is completely over crowded at the entrance. The line for food was about 40 minutes long and children were running around throwing apples. Either stay out in the field where there...More

A group of us city mice took a drive to Fishkill the last weekend of October and had a delightful day at Fishkill Farms! We were concerned that there would not be many apples left because it was so late in the season, but fortunately...More

Last weekend, I visited Fishkill Farms. It’s a wonderful small scale sustainable farm and apple orchard. Seriously, they have FIELDS of eco-certified apples that won’t leave your mouth tingling from chemical pesticides. From now until Oct 29, 2017 they are running a Fall Harvest festival...More

I love this place for fruits and vegetables. If you purchase the same from a supermarket, they are already at least a week old with in most cases with a very short shelf life. Fishkill Farms has a great variety and best of all, it...More

We took our 3 year old grandson to the Fishkill Farms in Fishkill, NY to pick blueberries. There was a $5.00 per person admission for everyone over age 12. To fill a pint basket of blueberries was $6.00. One pint of blueberries cost us $16.00....More

We love to pick fresh fruit from this farm especially the apples in the fall! It does get very crowded but they do a good job with the parking. They have a lovely farm store too.

Unless you are from NYC and absolutely MUST-have a farm-based excursion for your kids - pick somewhere else. Fishkill Farms comes across as a roadside tourist attraction disguised as a farm. Okay - so MAYBE the kids get to eat berries from a bush (if...More
