We have been going to the festival for years. Always a good time. Great activities for children. As a bonus, there is the wonderful museum with historical artifacts and contemporary art.

The museum itself is worth the visit, though it would be better with some more interpretative material. The value of a visit goes way up when there's an artisan demonstrating, a powwow, or other special event.

The museum has expanded and matured since a previous visit some years ago. It offers very good historical content, highlights the artistic talents of native Americans, and challengers our conventional views of a great people. Not too p.c. or preachy, its exhibits are rather thought-provoking...More

A little expensive for the experience but it was nice. Very few people there so you could lounge at your own convenience. Good parking.

This is a wonderful museum filled with artifacts and information that has a children's floor on the lower level with a live turtle pond. The ground floor is devoted to both historical local artifacts and contemporary art works in a variety of mediums. The gift...More

Visited the museum today. It certainly has quite the collection of Iroquois pottery and jewelry. The only downside is that there wasn’t a ton of information tied to the items. It seemed like more of a collection rather than an educational museum. The children’s museum...More

A must see if you are on your way to visit Howe Cavern. The museum has two levels. The lower level is basically for educational purposes for children and a small turtle pond. The main level contains some history and art work produced by local...More

The women working here were very accommodating to our kids. I was hoping for much more history here. The upside was the downside here. The main focus of the museum is the Mohawk iron workers which is really interesting and knew information to me. Otherwise...More
