Lots of beer and food/craft tents as well as booths inside (2 floors). A few booths had authentic German and Polish items like steins but many sell junky brick-a-Brack. Chintzy stuff from China didn't interest us. The bratwurst and knockwurst sandwiches were delicious! Beer was...More

Nothing like it! Our second year here and we enjoy every part of it! Walking around, seeing sights, ride up the scenic ski lift, and yes of course the beer. More than double the crowds this year so get there early. The place is so...More

4 of us took the skyride to the summit. We were in one of the first ascents after opening at noon. Well worth the $10 return fee (seniors). Spectacular views of the Catskills. There were lots of people there for the zip lining - but...More

My friends and I hiked the trails up to the top of the mountain. The trail map is easy to follow and there were multiple trails for various hiking levels. Since the other trail heads near town were all completely full, we were pleasantly surprised...More

We went to Hunter Mountain to zipline and really enjoyed our time there. We arrived early and had a delicious lunch at VanWinkle's. The zipline was amazing. Afterwards we enjoyed sitting outside, relaxing, and enjoying the views. Would like to visit again in the winter

My family and I spent a summer afternoon at Hunter Mountain. The ski lift up to the top of the mountain was fun. My husband has skied here before, so he was very interested in seeing the mountain without snow. Beautiful landscape, some short trails...More

Day trip to sightsee! We took the lift up to the top for spectacular views. There was a closed snack bar and gift shop up top, but everything at the base was open. The lift tickets were $10 a piece for the 20 min ride...More

Unfortunately we didn't get a space available as it was all full over the weekend, but the facility looked good and kids seemed happy & engaged, you can see through the glass window and its nice & big place.

The closest place is the "Kaatskill Mountain Club". It is right next to the slopes and is almost ski-in-ski out (if there is enough snow). There are also the "Liftside Village and Trailside at Hunter Condominiums... More
