This is a great small theater doing excellent productions of current Broadway theater. If you enjoy quality theater this is worth your time and money. We saw "Clybourne Park" a recent Tony winner. It was funny and thought provoking. We spent a great ride home discussing the meanings and messages of the play. We were completely captivated.

Many equity actors and dancers. Broadway-quality productions have never disappointed us. Saw Gypsy this year and Titanic: the Musical last summer. Wow! Incredible productions!

Went to performance of "4000 Miles" at Hangar Theater. Play was outstanding, acting and set were first class. Theater recently remodeled in the last few years and is wonderful venue. Seating is excellent with not a bad seat in the house. Very intimate setting for performance did not even require actors to be miked. I will definitely return for another... More

Scenic location a stone's throw from Cayuga Lake. Modern building and every seat is good. I won a couple tickets from an NPR station and I went to Hangar to see "4000 Miles." Well-run operation.

My family went on a Saturday afternoon to see 4000 Miles. We thoroughly enjoyed the production. Very upscale venue with a modern yet inviting feel. Not a bad seat in the house, though if you have a hearing issue get seats up front.

Too many productions include unneeded vulgarity and lewdness. The quality of the productions is otherwise good

By my count we have been to over 100 performances at the Hangar Theater - dating back to 1980. For most of those years, we have held season tickets. Many of the productions have been truly outstanding, most are above average, and there is an occasional disappointment, but overall the level of performance and professionalism is extraordinary. Much of the... More

Took kids there in the summer. The plays are well done and not so long that the children get antsy. The audience is so close to the stage area that it feels like your part of it. Great outdoor seating area for picnic lunching.

The Hanger has undergone recent renovations, with new seats and improved lighting. Almost any seat in the house is a great view. They offer several shows in the summertime for children (kidstuff) which is a must see and the regular offerings are wonderful as well.
