Had a great time reading and touring the fort. The live firearm and canon demo was amazing and amazingly loud, but the weather turned very cold and windy which made it difficult to 100% enjoy it. We were not disappointed.

This well re-build of the original Ft. Henry sits next to the Ft. Henry Hotel. The presentation was outstanding and the grounds well-maintained with plenty to keep young and old alike busy for several hours. Gift shop on site as well. Cost was reasonable.

Wife read Last of the Mohicans and wanted to visit Lake George. She was familiar with the history of the fort and convinced me that we should visit. Really enjoyed it. Friendly staff, interesting place, relaxed time, quite a few artifacts. Would recommend.

The fort is amazing and the staff extremely knowledgeable. We were fortunate to attend the 260th anniversary of the siege of Fort William Henry. That battle is depicted in the book/movie Last of the Mohicians. We had a great time.
