You will feel wonderful after you round of golf..

Why? The price is definitely right. The views of the mountains are among the best anywhere. The front nine is wide open and a perfect warm up for the second nine. There is a par... read more

Outstanding views of autumn leaves in the surrounding hills. However, the fairways were burnt (probably due to a dry summer), the golf carts were a ripoff at $35, the holes were awkwardly tight at times and sometimes hard to identify where the green was for a newbie. Greens were in pretty good shape though.

Unfortunately, played this course the day after they top dressed the greens. The fairways were burned out due to the lack of rain this summer. The front side was open and enjoyable but the back is tight and narrow. Even though there was quite a bit of sand on the greens, I had a fun day with other players on... More

Why? The price is definitely right. The views of the mountains are among the best anywhere. The front nine is wide open and a perfect warm up for the second nine. There is a par four that could definitely be considered a par three. Play moves along quickly, except for those times in the week when play is slow everywhere.... More

Arrived at 7am as a single on vacation with nothing but myself.....rented clubs (Titleist DTIs irons and Cobra driver and 3 wood), bought some balls a nice conversation with the pro shop attendant and off I went behind two singles and a two some in front of me. The twosome were super nice (locals), they let me play through on... More

We had a great day at Craig Wood Golf Course. We are members if Thendara Golf Course but go once a week to different places. A lot of fun! Unusual terrain but great views. Had a very nice time! The course was dry but the greens were not.

Played with family. Good time. Greens in good shape. No fairway watering system. But although brown in spots still good shape.

The front nine is wide open with a few streams running through the fairways. The back nine is a little tighter and I really enjoyed holes 13 and 14. The 13th looks like it is in the southwest. There is a large variety of golf holes. Pines, hemlocks and birch trees are around the perimeter and the mountain range is... More

Perfect for golfers seeking a moderate challenge and some great views. Wide open fairway, not a lot of trouble spots. Greens were in excellent condition and just an enjoyable outing for average golfers.

This golf course is situated in the ADK High Peaks Region. The views from the fairways make up for the not so perfect course condition. The greens were stressed by the long, cold winter. The layout is classic Craig Wood and the mountainous region ensures that most of your shots will be from a challenging position. I would definitely return... More
