We stopped here on a whim and had a great time! We went with our 16 year old and not quite 2 year old, they both had a blast. There was a lot to learn and was mostly interactive exhibits. There was a motion simulator...More

The reason this historical spot - the first AC hydroelectric plant in the WORLD!! - gets 4 stars is that as of late the visitors are not allowed into the turbine room (for safety reasons). As such the tour is a bit superficial.

This was one of the best things that we did while we visited Niagara Falls. Very engaging/interactive, and was fun for the whole family. I'd definitely visit the power station again, and would recommend this to a friend.

We only went here because it was raining! But it answered my geology questions in a way that nothing else in the area had done! It is FREE and will entertain small kids and adults!
