Even if you aren't there for an event, it is a very nice place to walk around. The museum part has a summary of local history and nice artifacts.

Nice place to spend a short time or take the longer tour both are very informative. The grounds are very well kept and I loved roaming the cemetery

A person could spend an hour there easy. Once you go through the house on a tour then it's time to walk the grounds and visit the cemetery. The bonus is the views. Lovely place to visit
