I went to visit in May when the azaleas were in full bloom. Beautiful gardens and I enjoyed the various scenes of Christ's life. It would make for a nice day trip with your family.

The Catholic Girl Scouts holds a very beautiful and inspirational day here annually. It includes walks through the stations of the cross, the rosary garden, individual seminars, lunch and ends with a mass. It is a beautiful day that connects the community.

What I love most about this place is that it's not really a "tourist" destination.. it's more of a hidden secret to those in the know. My wife and I made our pilgrimage this May but can't wait to go back specially when the leaves.....More

Beautifully kept grounds to walk & reflect. Our Lady of the Island Shrine is a must see. Light a candle or visit the gift shop. Come with your family and friends.
