Short hike to the top. 20-30 minutes. Upper third has some "steep" steps in stone ledges but you just need to take your time. It is worth it. If you cross the top and descend the far side it is really steep going down. Sorry...More

Although hiking apps describe this trail as "easy" I think it's more fair to describe it as "moderate" especially for non hikers or beginners as parts of it are rather steep. Ultimately the trail is well traveled and well marked. It's a very short (20-30...More

We were just there (after several recent snowstorms) and we wore snowshoes, but could have done the hike in bare boots. As long as you go several days after any snowfall other hikers will have packed the trail down for you. It's not a difficult...More

The view is worth the hike. The hike is steep in places but not very long and has a good trail. Make sure you bring your camera and give yourself plenty of time on the top.

This is a nice hike with spectacular views of the Schoharie Valley. Abrupt cliff edges at the top so better for mature children. Worth the trip!

Relatively short and not too strenuous, at the top this offers a beautiful view of the upper Schoharie Valley. Lots of open space on top of an escarpment, largely shaded Hike to the top makes this enjoyable even on a hot day. Well worth it!

We were fooled by reviews that said this was an easy hike with an initial steep ascent that leveled off. We took a trail that was a constant ascent, and because we thought this would be "easy", left our water in the car. We made...More
