So peaceful

Stopped by quickly one afternoon. Nice little hike, then sat by the water for a good hour just relaxing! Beautiful day, such a nice place to spend a few sunny hours

I had heard about this place a few months ago and was super excited when my friend asked if I wanted to go. When you're walking along the trails you eventually come across a nice little dock area and the view was stunning. It was definitely worth the trip

It is always a pleasure to enter the preserve, leaving the rest of the world behind. You will be drawn in by the serenity of the brook and the wind in the trees. It is always interesting and always changing. There are some huge carp, and you may see a giant snapping turtle if you are lucky.

Yes, It was a little muddy. Yes, it is hard to find ( a good thing). Yes it is beauty at it's best.... light streaming through the leaves... easy walking, a casual bench for reflecting. Go .... and do not tell to many others about this GEM

This is a small park, but there are several nice little trails and a deck area to sit and look out at the pond area. It can get muddy if there's been a lot of rain, though, so be mindful of that.

If you are looking to go for a hike in a pristine preserve, you may like this place. That said, I found the preserve difficult to find and not maintained particularly well. The intermittent boardwalks are sometimes missing planks, and there were two trails blocked by trees. None of the trails were marked, although there was a rough map of... More

My wife and I went for a walk around the preserve a couple of days ago. There was fresh snow on the ground, which made it even more interesting and perfect for photography (see my photos). I especially like the fact that no loud noise, radios, pets (of any kind), hunting, trapping, fishing, camping, food or drink are allowed in... More
