Enjoyed walking across the bridge to take a look at the Niagara Falls from USA side. Several options to get closer and take photos. Liked it but... more impressive from Canadian side.

The American Falls are less spectacular than the Canadian Falls, but none the less truly amazing. There is plenty of tourist traps surrounding them, but that's to be expected. The falls at night or day are always a good time and something everyone should see...More

Not only the view on both falls is better from Canada, the village offers more and is better looking. Walked through the state park on the US side and over the bridge to Canada. Explored both villages by walking. Enjoyed the fireworks which is best...More

What can you say.. absolutely beautiful and breathtaking.. the Canadian side was amazing.My wife and I took the Hornblower falls cruise and it was incredibly beautiful.. to be so close to the power of nature was wonderful.

Minimum 2 days required. Plan to stay for night illumination. safe to stay till 9.30 pm to 10 p.m. Beyond that I am not sure as no one will be there. Reg Nov sky I have no idea because I visited during May. Reg discovery... More

most of the hotels are pretty cheap this time of year. The Howard Johnson and quality suites are both nice. also if you use the groupon app there is a good deal to stay at the Sheraton and you get a bunch of coupons!

Depending on where you’re staying in NY you could rent a car to see the falls. I would definitely plan on going to the Canadian side since you will get a better and closer view in December. The American side will close off... More
