The falls are a part of the American side of the falls and present a great view from this side of the border - probably better from the boats (Closed during winters). It is not as large a view as I saw on TV and the water levels were not as thundering as they lower it during winters. Overall, a... More

Recently visited with my parents in the winter. We viewed the Bridal Veil Falls from the top on Goat Island as the lower walkways are closed in the winter. When we were there, my Dad told me that these particular falls are named the Bridal Veil Falls for a Native American woman that rode her canoe over these particular falls... More

The Bridal Veil Falls are best viewed from either the Canadian side or Goat island. It is a smaller but still beautiful scene, a single chute of water that tumbles down the American side. Don't forget to visit at night, when the new LED lights turns the cascade into a beautiful red, blue, or green. Very worth the extra trip!

It's a natural beauty, how can you go wrong? I love the Falls in general and this is the smallest one; but certainly still impressive. You can't help but feel the power when you're near them. Certainly a must-see when you're in the Cataract City.

When you get close to the bridal veil falls you will forget everything you heard about it being the smallest of the falls... Standing on the platform above the falls on the US side you will be overwhelmed by the height, the water and the heart thumping feeling of the falls right in front of you.

From the NY state park you can take a paved walkway (with some stairs) to either of two viewing platforms at the top of Bridal Veil Falls. There are good photos to be had, so do it!

Maid of the mist boat trip was excellent. Our visitors from overseas thoroughly enjoyed the falls. One shouldn't miss this world wonder. Boat rides may stop in early November for winter season. Check the time table before visit.

Be sure to take the time to walk down the paved trail to view this falls. Located between the Horseshoe Falls and the American Falls, there is a great overlook area in which you can really view the entire falls ares while standing on the top edge of the Bridal Veil Falls. Right below it is the Cave of the... More

Just off the main trail but somewhat secluded. Not as overwhelming as the American and Horseshoe Falls but nice views.
