The crew are amazing, they are extremely friendly and informative... They actually make this experience that much more enjoyable. I did the safari blue trip 8 years ago and I must say, my heart broke to see how the reefs and sea life has died.....More

Too many people (17) on dhow, uncomfortable, long day from hotel, poor 'lobster' lunch, difficult getting on & off boat. Ok for young people!

Guiding was professional, as was the sailing. Our group was mixed with some couples not entering the water, some swimming with life jackets, and some happy to swim and snorkel longer distances. All were taken good care of and our snorkel guide made sure to...More

Whilst visiting our son in Zanzibar, my wife and I went on a Safari Blue trip. The dhow was great, especially given the dead-calm morning, with a friendly, helpful and very competent local crew. The snorkelling revealed colourful and beautiful life on coral reefs that...More

We were persuaded to try this day trip but were terribly disappointed by the lack of extra value for money, The local guys seemed to be offering exactly the same trip with a better bbq and on far superior boats. We compared notes with some...More

Funny that the perception is that The Safari Blue the original and authentic tour is not a "local" product. I am not Zanzibari but i have lived here since 1995 and employ around 100 locals and support many many more indirectly by buying local produce...More

We have life vests for infants even small ones. I took both my children when they were just weeks old and there is shade on board the dhow and on the island where we have lunch.
