Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Transfer from Breezes resort to here thanks to Said and Goodlife travel . Air conditioned car with excellent driver and able to look at things on the way eg the huge baobab tree near Paje . Several hours at Mtende wallowing in the warm water and looking at the stunning views .

Worth seeing. We've been there between 11-12 AM and it wasn't crowded. The entrance fee is like 1$ pp.

Probably one of the most magic places I have ever seen, where combine nature (wonderful beach) with traditional habits like seeing women working coconuts husks to transform them in rope.
I went there with a local guide of jambiani named Kassim (see photo with details -second number in the list) with who we visited also villages and had home made lunch by a private craft woman. Amazing experience I would definitely recommend.

The hidden gems…third trip to this place because it’s alway the best .photo session with our client on this beach which was just amazing 🤩.we visited Mtende in the mid tides when it was low tide we took some few photos and enjoyed the beach after couples of hours the tide started flowing again and it made this place to look more beautiful than before we also got some great photos.I’ll recommend to visit Mtende when it low tide so as you can experience this beach in both tides .Check the tide timetable on google it’s every day and tides changes after every 6 hours.

We were there at high tide, a beautiful place but you could not do much more than look for a while. Big rocks and blue water.

Wherever you are in Zanzibar, take a taxi and be taken to Mtende. Even this beach alone is worth the trip. Unmissable.
