What a lovely church to have a look at the stone work is amazing and the door to the church is always open so you can have a walk around. Everyone makes you feel welcome have a look if your in the area.

Absolutely worth the visit. Splendid abbey church. Sober, basic but beautiful interior in the middle of a wonderful little medieval town.

Abbatiale Saint-Pierre is an outstanding example of XII century Romanesque architecture & sculpture. Beaulieu is by the water

A beautiful church building with some lovely stained glass windows well worth a visit as part of this medieval cite

Outside looks ok now. Inside is old, plastering falls out everywehere. They did their vest to show the progress via a tablet though.

Lovely historic church in the old part of town. Worth a visit if you are passing but the town is not the prettiest and the historic centre is a bit unloved.

If you are in the nabourhood then i would certainly recommend it. Its a very intresting roman church and very beautifully restored.

Very old "church" dating back at least 9-10 centuries ago, ie 12th or 13th Century. What I thought was quite impressive was its very high vaults and yet, there weren't the normal chandeliers that one would find in other newer churches. If one took time...More
