You can see the little chapel from the beach in Etretat and realise that you have a bit of a climb up steps and a windy cliff path. It looks worse than it is but you might need to stop to rest. Alternatively you can...More

Situated near the car park, this is the first sight to see in Etretat. We spend some time here admiring the views on Etretat and the cliffs. It's a pity that there is no possibility to see the chapel inside...

The Chapelle itself is closed. But the view on from the cliff is amazing! You can observe the arch on the left, as well as the cost on the right. There is a path from the beach that you can climb, or alternatively by car...More

It may look far from Etretat but it is worth the view of the sea. Combined with the ancient chapel and sense of isolation it is a place of tranquility. The wind was biting but the view is worth it.

it seemed unreal how this church looked like from the cliffs on the other side of the city... so we went up there to see it. you can also come by car from the town. great view and walk to the cliff side.

This is a new acquisition of the coastal commission and a museum now. We just hope that Nungesser and Coli Museum will still be accessible. We do not recommend the "jardins d'Etretat" who's owner destroyed the local environment for a tourist attraction. We are very...More

Climbing up the northern cliff offers the best views in Etretat, whether the cliff themselves or the town. Take a chance to check the monument to Colin and Nungesser who attempted crossing the Atlantic a few days before Lindbergh, and whose plane were last seen...More

Fortunately for older people (like me) this attraction is easy to reach by road from Etretat, and there is a large carpark alongside. Unable to see the interior, but the church is so photogenic! The views of Etretat and the cliffs from here are superb.

We did not get to see the church inside, but the stunning views, especially around sunset, were well worth climbing (by car) to the top of the cliff. Spacious parking next to the church. Lots of picnic appeal. Awesome photography opportunity.
