We walked down the 300+ steps and took photos while we descended. The walk is doable, just pace yourself. Donkeys were going down as well and a few times they were blocking our path and we had to go around them. There are a few restaurants right by the water and we ate at Katinas (made reservations in advance and... More

Good food, but waiters are not very warm but perhaps it was quite a cold afternoon. Pick a table nearest to the edge and enjoy the amazing view. my preferred restaurant is the one near the parking areas. didn't know barley could taste really good instead of rice/potatoes.

Cute piscatory place in Oia. Food is good there, go for lunch. It's a different perspective. Go down and up the stairs alongside with the donkeys (don't ride the donkeys please) to get there. Cool

We had a great day there and definitely was not expected. The place on top is full of shops for clothes, leathers, souvenirs, plus a lot of places to eat. We had lunch down the bay in one of the restaurants and the view was amazing

Amoudi Bay is well worth walking down the 300 stairs to reach it. Pleasant little port and there are a few restaurants there. In early November only one was open and it was busy.

We took the donkey ride up. It was great fun but quite scary. The donkeys were bigger than your average horses. My donkey wouldn't want to go up anymore after halfway, meanwhile my wife and daughter's donkey was squeezing through the donkey traffic and rushing up. A few times the donkey was so close to the edge of the cliff... More

We went to amoudi bay two times, if you have come to Santorini you must visit amoudi bay. There bars that serve fresh seafood, fish that you can pick yourself. In the day you can go cliff diving.

If you walk it is a hike down treacherous stairs, but well worth it for the view, and great restaurants. If you have a car you can drive.

We did a med cruise with costa cruises out of the 5 destinations our stop here was by far the best experience. Tenders from the ship took us to shore, we didn't climb the hill as my mother had poor mobility. We just simply stayed around the shore. Had a Greek salad, a couple of Greek beers and shopped in...
