We end up going to the red beach, and to the old port. From there, we took a ferry to the volcano and swam in the sulfur filled hot spring. Wonderful vacation.

We don't know where Astir Beach is. We have always gone into Athens from Piraeus port. Santorini is a completely different place -- it's a Greek isle.
