About
"Santorini is my home. It's one of the few places in the world that can still take your breath away. What's even more amazing are all the fantastic hidden spots that most tourists never see. If you come to Santorini you can join me on one of my fun and relaxed photography and sightseeing tours. Day tours start from 4 hours and up. (Check my website for more details). I'd love to show you around." - Judy Reinen, tour director.

Last October, I traveled to Greece for a 10-days holiday. I booked a ground tour through a Malaysia agent, Sedunia Travel. Sedunia travel booked the Greece tour through a local agent, GTL George Soultis.I am satisfied and delighted with their arrangement.
GTL booked the Polis grand hotel in Athens for 3 nights. The hotel location is good, near to the Acropolis and Plaka. Plus, breakfast is superb. I personally like the vans that picked me up, all are brand new and clean.
I also stayed in Santorini and Mykonos. I enjoyed the scenery at Santorini and Oia.White houses with blue roofs, near cliff, facing the Caldera and sea. I love the sunset in Oia.
I joined an excursion to a volcano. The hike to the volcano crater is easy and the view is good. Besides, I do joined a two-day-one-night Delphi and Meteora trip. The scenery of Meteora is wonderful but the journey took 6-7 hours, it is quite tiring.
Lastly, I will advice to travel to Greece in October because it is less crowded and the weather is nice.Even though the sun is shining in the afternoon, the wind is chilly.

I spent more than half a day with Judy, a true pro and wonderful teacher. She shares her method, techniques and advice freely. She can adapt to working with every skill level. Marvelous knowledge of photography and the island. I am an avid travel photographer for 40 yrs with pro equipment and have adopted Judy’s method during the time spent with her. I recommend her for experts to beginners, smart phones to pro cameras. You with learn an enjoy. It will be one of the best days you spend anywhere. Such a privilege to learn from such a talented and special person.

This tour is a must! Judy was absolutely amazing. I am not a photographer by any stretch of the imagination. In fact, I have never even had the slightest interest and have always felt that "a picture doesn't do it any justice" and that you are better off just enjoying what you see while you are there. But, this was a trip of a lifetime for us, and everyone kept asking us to bring back lots of pictures. So when I saw that this private photo tour was available, and it was a good way to see the island with a local guide, I booked it. WE WERE NOT DISAPPOINTED. Judy gave us some really great tips and tricks to take truly outstanding photos. Since being home I cannot stop looking at the photos I took, AND I have proudly shared them with friends and colleagues who have asked me if I had a background in photography! Some even said the pictures were so good they looked like they were from a movie set! This tour was truly the highlight of our trip. Book this tour. You will love it!

This was by far the best photo tour I have ever taken. Judy was amazing both with helpful tips and with finding remarkable remote spots to photograph. We also learned so much about the island. I am an avid photographer, and I learned so much and had an incredibly fun time. My partner came along, not really thinking she would enjoy it, but came away even more excited than me. Judy, thank you for an unforgettable day!!!

Our time with Judy was a very memorable and inspiring. We are a family from Hong Kong and went for a 5-hour tour from 4 o’ clock in the afternoon. We didn’t know much about photography at first, but we had a great time and learnt a lot in a short amount of time. Not knowing much about this island, we asked Judy to take us to some popular spots as well as places less visited by tourists. She brought us to three amazing places, the black sand beach, Pyrgos and a lovely village nearby. Judy taught us how to take pictures in different perspectives and what makes a good picture. She was very patient in explaining how to make the best use of our cameras and iPhones. We could tell that she is extremely passionate about her work and she has sparked an interest for photography in all of us. We all loved this session with Judy and it has to be the most memorable part of your holiday in Santorini.
Thank you Judy!

This is an exciting and comprehensive tour of Santorini with a professional company and driver . They are very response pre- trip amd were on time with a luxurious Mercedes van. The driver (Ted) was the best. He is extremely knowledgeable in Greek history and Santorini Culture and knows the entire island. I would recommend this company without reservation and especially if you ask if Ted is available. Definitely on my list when I return. Sometimes I feel overseas companies are not trustworthy, but from my experience NO worries here. I felt totally comfortable providing them with my CC information.

Booking our photography tour with Judy was one of the best things we did on our trip to Santorini. She not only taught us how to use our cameras but guided us on how to develop our vision and understand lighting. Judy brought us to all the touristy spots and she took us to all the secret locations on the island that most tourists never get to see. We had such a great experience capturing the real Santorini with Judy because she's not only very knowledgeable, she's a wonderful person to be around too! Loved her fun and inspiring energy!!

Olaf taught us that our iPhones are great cameras if we learned the philosophy of photography that he teaches. He was so right!
With a blend of humor, cheekiness, charm and his trademark New Zealand accent, professional photographer Olaf was a joy to hang out with. Very patient. Teaches only to your interest level.
Go right to the best spots, avoid many crowds, learn to use your phones or cameras to their fullest extent, enjoy an ice cream and get blessed by getting better. Why not use your holiday to be better? It sure beats standing in infinite lines with Sheeple to get a snapshot that 27 million others have taken. Even an old dog had learned new tricks here. We wouldn’t trade our time with Olaf. A highlight of our world travels. A true Pro!

I rarely log in to write reviews of any sort, but I felt obligated to share how incredible this day was. I booked the 6 hour tour for my girlfriend and I, and we found ourselves taking photos with Judy well over our allotted time slot, having the time of our lives.
If you want to have a quick understanding, know these points: Judy is a world-renowned photographer and she humbly revealed that she has won international awards continuously since she began photography. Judy instructs and teaches you how to dramatically improve your photo taking skills within the first half hour of the trip. Regardless of what camera you have, you will learn. After some practice, I found myself taking photos I never thought possible on my iPhone X and Pixel 2 XL. My girlfriend had her Cannon camera, and was quickly taking photos that looked professionally done. As the day progresses you pass through amazing areas of Santorini, each one more breathtaking and secluded than the last. Judy takes you into areas that you will never have a chance to get in otherwise, and the photos we took (see below) are stunning. Judy knows seemingly every local on the street, and her energy is contagious and enthralling. It was challenging to say goodbye when the tour was over because we had such a great time with her and didn't want the day to end.
Now for a more granular review: Judy picked us up in the morning at our AirBnB and we quickly drove off to Oia where she led us to a less-traveled alleyway that had shops, churches, and beautiful scenery. My girlfriend brought her Cannon Mark II, and had limited experience using it. Judy immediately walked her through the technical components, and then showed her how to actually incorporate them by using her own camera as a guide. Seeing Judy suddenly stop and capture a photo was remarkable, and while she was taking it she would explain her thought process and show you the results. Watching a world-renowned photographer in their element was in it of itself, incredible, and it entirely changed my view of photography. Judy can explain complex photography terms in a number of ways, so I was still able to follow her thoughts. I will always remember her helpful hints and terms - pedizoom (zooming in by walking closer) - is one of the many, colorful phrases she's coined that stick out in your mind.
Judy encourages you, pushes you, and helps you enhance your photos - when you inevitably take a photo that comes out looking brilliant her face lights up and you can hear her excitement for you. This is really rewarding, and you can tell how passionate Judy is about photography (she's been doing it her whole life). She makes an effort to understand what you specifically like in photography and tailors the tour around shots that you want to have. We got wonderful couple photos, church photos, staircases, and more thanks to this. Judy also actively encourages exploration and we ended up walking through a whole new section of Oia because I saw something I was interested in. This level of customization is really special.
Finally, Judy brings a professionalism that is hard to exceed. She guides you through the busy sections of the city, converses with the locals to get you into special spots, and shows you the best places to get food (like ice cream), and also which shops have the best deals and quality. Judy begins the trip by learning about you, telling you about herself, and figuring out what you want to take away from your experience. For example, she asked us if she should bring her mobile phones and Cannon camera with us during the tour - we were so pleased she did because as I mentioned above, seeing the process with her was eye-opening and informative.
Every once in a while you meet someone that absolutely loves what they do, and Judy is one of those people. It's infatuating being around someone who is so passionate about photography, especially when you're wandering through one of the most beautiful places in the world. If you want to get some nice photos of Santorini, then there are plenty of places and tours you can go with. If you want a truly engaging, educational, and exceptional tour, then look no further than Judy. We will be coming back to Santorini in the future and we will be doing this tour again. Thank you Judy!

Meeting Olaf and Judy and learning about photography was a big highlight of our vacation in Santorini. Olaf is very knowledgeable about cameras and photography. They are both wonderful people. We learned so much about our cameras and we have great photographs to remember our vacation by.
