My wife and I had a fabulous and informative private tour of Akrotiri with Georgia Dimas in May 2024. Georgia has expert level knowledge of Akrotiri. Her use of media on her tablet added to the tour’s quality. Georgia is very personable and she speaks fluent English Her presentation was very well crafted and she was responsive in reply to our many questions. The pace of the 90 minute tour was very comfortable.
We highly recommend Georgia to lead your tour of Akrotiri and we suspect her tours of other sights in Santorini and Athens would be equally great.

Guide Georgia brought the exposed parts of the town to life. She pointed out the “modern” features we did not expect in 3600 year old town. A must see for anyone interested in history or archeology

One word: FANTASTIC!!! Georgia was absolutely amazing! She knew so much about everything on Santorini including the Akrotiri archealogical site. She picked us up from our hotel in her car, took us for a tour around the south part of Santorini, including the light house, explanations about the landmarks, crops and buildings and then took us through an in-depth review of the Akrotiri Archealogical Site. We were so enthralled all through the tour and kept asking questions yet Georgian kept answering with in depth knowledge. Even our 13 year old was interracting and asking questions!! Would highly recommend the private tour. It's worth every cent!

We took the "Santorini Highlights" tour with Giorgia in August 2016 . Two adults and 2 children. She was very friendly and informative, talked us though the most important places of the island, it was such an amazing day. Our children loved it too! We would never have learned all this information if we hadn't done the tour. Thank you Giorgia for your detailed and very interesting information and your friendly approach!!

Very knowledgeable and passionate about the island, the history as well as clients who take genuine interest in it. The advantage being that she grew up in the island so she knows every nook and cranny far beyond what can be learnt from the books and schools.

Georgia was our private guide for an Akrotiri tour. She picked us up at our hotel and drove us to and from Akrotiri. On the way she gave us a brief history of Santorini, stopping at one point at a scenic overlook to show us the Caldera and volcanos. She then took us to the archeological site of Akrotiri. She explained the site in a way that was not only easy to understand, but also in a way that made us so fascinated and interested. She showed pictures on her iPad of the paintings that needed to be removed and restored. This very much enhanced the tour. She is a liscenced guide and was clearly very knowledgable, organized and presented in a way that was easy to understand.
Akrotiri is a must see in Santorini and you will get so much more out of it with a guide.georga is also a guide for many other trips.
