This was my first stop and really my first exposure to the gorgeous fall foliage of this region. They only take cash so be aware of that. The ride up was spectacular but the ride down was even better. Views at the top were like something out of a fairytale with all those peak fall colors. This is such a... More

It only costs $5 for seniors to ride the t-bar chairlift up and down the mountain. The sun was in our eyes on the way up, but the scenery was beautiful on the way down. Many beautiful scenes to see at the top when you get off and walk around. The cold wind blew in our faces on the way... More

Really enjoyed our chairlift up the mountain to view the fall colors. $6 for adults, $5 for kids 6-16 (seniors are 5 bucks too!) and 5 and under are free. The views are beautiful in all directions Many folks brought picnics to the top and seemed to enjoy it. Well worth it.

My wife and I took our family to Old Forge for Columbus Day Weekend. The colors were amazing. It was peak. We all went to McCauley Mountain for the chair lift ride and the hike back down. It was fantastic. The sun was out and the views were outstanding. We all had a great time.

A short chairlift takes you ro the summit of McCauley Mona in ad great views of Old Forge, Fourth Lake and the surrounding geography. In October with the trees coloring it is breath-taking.

We went for the scenic chair lift and did the hike at the top. The chair lift provided great views of the mountains and lakes. The hike at the top was blocked by trees, not complaining, just wouldn't recommend hiking the top for views. The admission price was very reasonable and it was a lovely day. Very enjoyable time. Also,... More

On my bucket list was trying to overcome my fear of heights. It was a beautiful, sunny day. Everything was green and lush. We were hoping to see more color but it was adequate. When we reached the top of the chair lift, the attendant helped me get off the chair. The view at the top was worth my overcoming... More
