Great tour of history of the LDS church

I would highly recommend learning from the site and seeing the effort that went into bringing the Book of Mormon to the public.

The publication of the Book of Mormon is an American original - whether you're Mormon or not. This site has turned the original building into a multi-storied museum with live tours. It has interesting artifacts and historically significant information. It's also comfortable with AC and an elevator.

This is a stop worth making with your family. The center is well designed, with so much great historical information and beautiful displays. The missionaries do a wonderful job of sharing information, answering questions and providing opportunities to feel the Spirit for all ages.

A terrific spot to learn about the Book of Mormon and how it came to be. Seeing the old shop and tools is so interesting. Very accommodating guides, they are respectful of the time you have and will do their best to give you what they can in the time that you have. Beautifully done, very clean and welcoming.

I love the history behind this building. You are greeted with missionaries to take you on a tour and answer any questions you may have. They are interactive as they show you how the first Book of Mormon was bound and printed.

I was worried about bringing my three young children here, but it was a huge hit! Elder Nielsen was our tour guide and took us through the entire process of making and binding a book in the 1800's. He was very knowledgeable and taught us a lot of very interesting things while being patient with my busy son. My kids... More

This publishing tour is very interesting. The building has 3 floors and you get to tour all of them. There is an elevator, drinking fountains and nice bathrooms for public use. The tour took a little over an hour. The guides are constantly rotating so there aren't going to be guides there over more than a years' period of time... More

This is a must-see free museum if you were in town it dates all the way back to the early eighteen-hundreds and tells a great story about the beginning of the Mormon church. Very informative with a great amount of effort and expense put into the museum

The Grandin publishing house tour is worth your time. It was the first place that the Book of Mormon was published. The tour guides were very friendly and not overly pushy.
