Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Such a great and unique experience! My fiancé and I went this past weekend it was very relaxing. It was supposed to be a group tour but the other party came late so we got a private walk (which we weren’t mad about). We did the alpaca trek our guide was awesome! She was super informative, took photos of us and we even got to feed the alpacas. It was a nice, easy trail on the farm that went into the woods. On the walk not only were we with the alpacas but we got to see goats, llamas, a pig, a turkey and some wild foxes!

My sister and I had a fantastic time at the farm. We each had an alpaca to walk and a nice hike around the farm. We never knew how wonderful and fun an alpaca could be. We will be back with friends and family!

This was a fabulous experience. The alpacas are such great characters, and are clearly very loved. The farm is beautiful, and so is the farm cat! I thoroughly enjoyed my walk with Honey. To get here, I took the train from Grand Central to Poughkeepsie and then an Uber.

Worth Every Second! Wanting to do something different for the weekend and animal related i searched for the best alpaca farm in nyc and came upon Lilymoores Alpaca Farm. Im so happy i did. A very quick 60 min ride outside NYC and you're there. I was happy that i booked a photoshoot package with the alpacas because it was an up close an personal experience with all of the very sweet animals. I could tell they were taken care of very well. I absolutely fell in love with them and will most certainly be back. I saw so much more during my time there. Beautiful horses, a very adorable pig and some chickens too. I will say the alpacas were my fave and had so much personality! The owner Diane was an absolute joy! Make sure to check out the store before you go. I purchase the coziest blanket thats now dropped across my bed.

The Alpaca trek is something you must check off your bucket list. I will certainly be revisiting. This picturesque farm is beautifully maintained with happy well cared for animals. Some of which are rescues. Your host/guide is a lovely woman who is happy to share her knowledge with ease. Both welcoming and charming, Lilymoore Alpaca Farm does not disappoint.

Staff was super friendly. You get to choose your alpaca buddy and take them to a walk. Wished the walk was longer but the alpacas were probably thirsty after one hour. So is fine. There were 5 of us and we thought it was a wonderful experiences. Alapcas were cute. Highly recommended for friends and family.

We went on a rainy day and weren't sure what to expect but decided a little Alpaca time was worth getting wet. We were welcomed immediately and showed around the farm. Not only was it education but we also got to touch and feed the Alpacas. At the end of the tour, there was a very cute gift shop with items created from Alpaca wool. We will go back.

I had my first visit to Lilymoore Farm a few months ago. I fell in love with the alpacas as soon as I met them. They are the sweetest animals and each seems to have their own personality. While there I acquired two capes, and several pairs of socks, and my dear friend that was with me bought me a stunning hat, all of which I love! Thank you Dianna for sharing your furry family with me! Looking forward to coming again when I come to NY.
