Beautiful, wooded park on the shores of Lake Ontario. Stayed for 3 nights in mid-May in a cabin with 1 double bed and 2 singles. Full, large kitchen with refrigerator, 4-burner stove, sink and dining niche that comfortably seats 4 people. Fireplace. Bathroom (but no...More

We were there last week of April for a day visit. Very pretty park, big trees, nice shoreline and facilities. I will return this summer to see if it holds up during the crowd season!

The day we went it was so foggy you could not see too far over the lake. Yet, it was still busy. I enjoyed walking along the beach. Wear good shoes, its not all sandy. Even with the lack of views on the lake, it...More

It's a breadboard that is open year round. I live nearby but never go in the summer but love the winter activities here.

We visit Selkirk to walk and ride bikes. The trails are nice. Very cheap to enter ($8) and the pass will get you into another state park that day for free. The beach is not that nice and never is, sand is brought in. That...More

The good: my wife was very productive catching fish off the pier. And it's a beautiful view of Lake Ontario. The bad: the campsites were too close together, and too crowded. Too loud at night, and the walk, way too far to the bathroom in...More

We stayed here for two nights in a tent. The campsites are very close together and everyone is kind of packed in. It wasn't terribly loud, but you can generally hear your neighbors and there's kind of a party atmosphere--low key, but still more party...More

Reserved a site in section "C" on Lake Ontario. The site was grass, and unimproved - not level, and soft - with all the wood I have for just such occasions, I could not level my motorhome - we ended up setting up on the...More

Unfortunately Beach is under repairs and preparing to reopen. The rest of Park is beautiful and a good place to fish. Nice benches line the walkway to the shoreline which provide an excellent view of Lake Ontario.
