Two things are going on here. The Great Escape is a year round hotel which incorporates an indoor water theme park. Waves, a rafting river, pools ...all great fun for kids and active adults. The Great Escape is also a summer time outdoor theme park ( late May till after Labor Day. Rides, entertainment , a large outdoor swimming pool... More

Winter Review...We have been going since it opened just over 10 years ago. So many great memories and always fun! Water park is clean, but a little crowded. Rooms are a little worn, but they take care of them and they are CLEAN. People are great....Zack, who we met a couple years ago at the Adventure Trek store, is so... More

Camelback mountain in Pennsylvania is so much nicer but was sold out so we decided to try here. In the winter we had the indoor water park and snow tubing close by. Who could beat the view at Lake George 3 miles away. The rooms were okay. We asked not to have service and they came anyway. A party of... More

We did a weekend family get together there. We had a good time but do have a few things I wished were different. There were not enough tubes for the lazy river and I wished it had been a little warmer temperature but we had fun cruising around in it. We tried out all the tubes and it was very... More

Nice clean INDOOR water park. My kids and, grand kids had a ball.! The place is clean and, there's a lot of different water slides, etc. We also stayed in the adjacent hotel which was a bit pricey but, included the use of the water park. Also a great place to visit on a rainy day in the summer. I... More

if your kids have been to a full on Six Flags, Disney, Canada's Wonderland etc, they will be very disappointed Save your money and do some other family activities in the area. There are better amusement parks to visit and this isn't one of those.

This is a Six Flags property but has a lot of its own character. We have been going to visit every year for the past few years and really enjoy the park. My favorite is the Comet roller coaster, which was moved from Crystal Beach and runs well. The park has a nice assortment of rides, another favorite is the... More

Not a bad park! Lines are not that crazy long , place is clean and staff is friendly. Are 5 year old and 12 year old were both entertained and so was I. Season ticket special worth buying if you would be returning.

Make a day of it! Whether a season pass holder going as a guest for bring a friend day (afforded to season pass holders) or just need something for the whole family to do- this is a fun day. Make sure to plan accordingly as it is both an amusement park and water park. There are pricey lockers to rent... More
