We went on a perfect day...Late fall, weather was partly sunny, on a weekday. It was great to see the Lions so close and to learn so much about the wild life. I learn something new every time I go there.

I went on an overcast afternoon, after it had rained. I was very surprised at how lively and animated the animals were. I was able to see every animal in the zoo. It was amazing! Some of them were quite animated. As I took the first picture of the rhino, he turned and faced me directly, so I snapped another... More

This is not the largest zoo but we love it!!! We are members and visit often. The zoo has many cool events like zooboo and zoobrew. My three year old likes the playground and river area along with all the animals. It's a nice zoo and I recommend everyone visit

We took our grand children for a few hours and though we didn't get to see everything, what we saw was great. The 9 year old was able to use the easy to follow map to guide us to all the animals they wanted to see. Most of the displays and habitats have been updated with a major project to... More

Great for young children. Not too big and set up for Kids. Good venue for adult parties. Nice aquarium. Park like setting with humane animal exhibits.

It's a great zoo for families. You can get through the whole zoo before the kids get tired. There's an indoor eco center that is lots of fun. Love the rocky coast! Cute little store and place to eat.

I was thinking that we did a wrong choice going here, but once there the animals were really nice, it was so cold outside that many of them were inside, we got free hot chocolate. There is a exhibit indoors with elephants at the very end of the zoo, and another one in the very beginning, make sure to cover... More

We are thankful to have this treasure in our city. Love that we have the penguins! Lots of exhibits for kids and kids at heart. Zoo staff is very friendly.

I was very impressed with the elephant and lion exhibits. These are relatively new changes at the zoo and are certainly worth visiting. I especially liked being able to go inside the large elephant housing facility. Great planning went into this building. Great outing for families.
